Michael Murphy represents both plaintiffs and defendants in general commercial litigation and numerous types of employment disputes.
Michael was born in Hinesville, Georgia, and grew up in North Carolina. He received his JD from Harvard Law School in 2005, and received his A.B. in Political Science from Duke University in 2002.
Upon graduating from law school, Michael joined the litigation section of Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston. As an associate at Vinson & Elkins, Michael represented clients in a wide range of disputes, including commercial litigation, products liability, toxic tort, oil and gas, and First Amendment law.
