Ms. Robinson has extensive complex civil litigation experience, including antitrust, securities, products liability, government contracts, and business contract and tort disputes; multi-district litigation, class actions, and derivative claims; and appeals in both state and federal courts. Ms. Robinson has significant regulatory experience as well, having counseled numerous clients engaged in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Ms. Robinson began her career at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton in Los Angeles, then practiced for four years in Raleigh, North Carolina at Smith Anderson Blount Dorsett Mitchell & Jernigan before returning to Sheppard Mullin in 2003. After moving to Houston, Ms. Robinson spent a year as in-house counsel at Baker Botts before joining Ahmad Zavitsanos & Anaipakos in late 2007.

Listed below are some examples of accomplishments that Ms. Robinson has achieved for her clients:


  • ConAgra Feed Company v. Higgins, 200 F.R.D. 265 (W.D.N.C. 2001): Ms. Robinson represented ConAgra in a breach of contract suit and obtained sanctions against the defendant including judgment in ConAgra s favor and dismissal of defendant s counterclaim.
  • Lee v. Baxter, 147 N.C. App. 517, 556 S.E.2d 36 (N.C. App. 2001). Ms. Robinson represented Ford Motor Company in an appeal of the trial court s denial of Fords motion for summary judgment based on the claimant s violation of the statute of repose.

Ms. Robinson graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1995 and with honors from Duke University School of Law in 1998.
