Employment Litigation

AZA has developed a national reputation in employment litigation, and is frequently on the cutting edge of developments in employment law. AZA’s expertise extends to all major areas of employment litigation, including the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, disability and discrimination law, Sarbanes-Oxley¸ and non-compete and trade secret litigation. The Firm is regularly hired to act as trial counsel to assist other law firms throughout the country in employment cases.

AZA also assists executives and officers with the preparation and negotiation of their employment agreements, and regularly litigates and tries employment cases for executives. In addition, we assist executives with negotiations for severance packages. Because the Firm represents many multi-national companies with the preparation of their executive employment agreements for their officers and executives, we are uniquely qualified to assist executives with their compensation packages and agreements. In addition to litigation, the Firm counsels numerous large companies on structuring layoffs, conducting internal investigations, and terminating and reprimanding employees.
