When trial results matter, clients call on
Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Anaipakos.

Mr. Ahmad was called upon by a former truck driver of Exxon after he became disabled after being brutalized with a tire iron by unidentified criminals. He was subsequently terminated. Undeterred by the lack of any substantive offers by Exxon prior to trial, Mr. Ahmad took the case to trial and secured a six figure judgment against Exxon in favor of his client.

Mr. Ahmad was also called upon to represent a former lawyer within the General Counsel's office at the University of Houston who had sued for retaliation after she complained of sexual harassment from the General Counsel. He was asked by Andrew S. Golub of Dow, Golub, Berg & Beverly to assist in the trial on behalf of Ms. Septimus, securing a verdict of approximately $450,000.00, not including any attorneys' fees or costs.

In 1998, Mr. Zavitsanos defended a Fortune 100 chemical company in a multimillion dollar toxic exposure case. The plaintiff claimed that he was completely disabled due to being exposed to substances which were allegedly toxic. The plaintiff's "bottom line" demand was over $4,000,000. The case went to trial and, following the cross examination of the plaintiff by Mr. Zavitsanos, the case settled for a small fraction of the plaintiff's final demand.

Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Anaipakos were hired on the verge of trial to represent an aircraft retooling, sales, and leasing company in a high-stakes dispute against a powerful Saudi company. The dispute, which had been pending for several years before Mr. Anaipakos was hired, involved the proposed sale of the personal DC-10 jet of the King of Saudi Arabia. On the first day of trial in federal court the Defendant capitulated, agreeing to settle with Mr. Anaipakos' client for a seven-figure sum.
